Our History.
1993
Authorized Appliance is founded as “Authorized Builder Sales”.
2012
Authorized Builder Sales is acquired and Jane Heiling is named President.
2016
To better reflect the diversity of our customers beyond builders, “Authorized Builder Sales” officially became “Authorized Appliance”.
2018
St. Louis’ premier appliance store officially opens. At 10,000 sq. ft., Authorized sets a new standard for appliance shopping in St. Louis.
2020
Justin Breckle appointed Chief Executive Officer. Justin originally joined Authorized in 2015 as Vice President.
2020
Bob Edwards joined Authorized Appliance as our first Director of Customer Care which consolidated field service and customer advocates under a single senior leadership position.
2021
Jeff Schwalb joined Authorized Appliance as our first Director of Sales.
